Art Walk - Thursday, April 2nd 5PM-8PM
The art will be located inside of participating businesses and outside in the courtyard in downtown Dallas.
Artist Requirements and Eligibility:
Artists are not required to be Paulding County residents but Paulding County residents will be given priority.
Considerations will be made toward family-friendly displays, as this event is for all ages.
The Art Walk Committee will jury applicants and confirm applicants by February 27th.
Artist is solely responsible for all sales and monetary exchanges for their art and are expected to follow all local and state tax laws.
Artists are expected to be onsite at their designated location during the Thursday event time, and as necessary throughout the weekend as agreed upon with their host business/gallery location.
No-show artists without a valid emergency will not be eligible to participate in future events. Validity will be at the discretion of the Committee.
Artists will have a minimum of two hours prior to the event for set up and have at least 1 hour to take down their display following the event. Artists and business owners can arrange other timeframes, but this is the minimum requirement given.
Artists are fully responsible for the removal of their art and take full liability for art on display. Should an artist leave art behind and/or do not clean up their pieces after the event, artists forfeit participation in future events, and anything left will be removed without compensation.
We are looking for the following types of art: Painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, and ceramics. Craft vendors will not be considered.
Artist Checklist:
Participants must complete an application to participate in the Art Walk to be represented through the marketing efforts.
Artists must be willing to promote the event through their social media outlets.
Artists must be present throughout the entire Art Walk event.
