We are the Business Development Office and are located in the heart of downtown Dallas at 200 Main Street, a quick walk from the Dallas Theater. The office serves as a point of contact for business prospects, grant programs, business licensing, and property taxes. The office offers many programs and services to help better the downtown community and coordinate wonderful events on Main Street such as City Fest and Food Truck Fridays.

In 2021, Dallas was designated as a Georgia Main Street City by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. This progam assists Georgia cities and community in the development of their core commercial areas. These cities are also expected to work within the National Main Street Center’s four point approach: Organization, Design, Economic Vitality, and Promotion.​
