The Dallas Downtown Development Authority (DDA) launched a new grant initiative called BOOST, aimed at empowering businesses located within the downtown Main Street District. The new program is designed to provide financial assistance that fosters growth and innovation in our community.
Eligible businesses can utilize the grant funds for various purposes, including marketing initiatives, equipment upgrades, operational improvements, and more. Importantly, funds awarded through the BOOST Grant program do not require repayment, allowing businesses to invest in their future without the burden of small business debt.
Grant funds are raised by multiple fundraising efforts including the revenue generated from the photobooth in downtown on the courtyard, the annual Pumpkin Fest, and ticket sales from many events hosted by downtown Dallas. The grant is solely funded by downtown fundraising efforts.

“The BOOST Grant is designed to provide immediate financial relief and encourage a business-friendly environment in downtown Dallas,” says Main Street Manager, Shannon Gordon. “With the Dallas Downtown Development Authority investing in the heart of our community, they are investing in the future of Dallas.”
BOOST grants are typically accepted and awarded on a quarterly cycle. The Downtown Development Authority reserves the right to award grant funding more or less frequently during the calendar. The award amount is dependent on the amount of BOOST funds available. Award amounts are a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $2,500.
Join us in this exciting opportunity to revitalize our local economy and make a lasting impact on the community. Together, we can help our Main Street District businesses BOOST their potential!
