6th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is the most magical day of the year in downtown Dallas. Enjoy an evening taking photos with Santa, shopping with the stores and vendors on Main Street, tasting delicious food from a variety of food trucks, listening to live Christmas music, and so much more! Be in the courtyard at 6:30pm for the countdown to the lighting of the tree and fireworks!

FAQ:

• Where and when are the photos with Santa? You can find Santa at 33 Courthouse Square (green building that faces the courtyard/courthouse) between 3-5:30pm! Photos are free and you will take photos with your own camera/phone. Santa photos are sponsored by TKO Plumbing Services.

• What time is the tree lighting and fireworks? The Tree Lighting and Fireworks is at 6:30pm in the courtyard.

• Will the stores on Main Street be open late? Yes! The stores on Main Street stay open late for you do some Christmas shopping!

• Will there be vendors? Absolutely! All shopping vendors will be on Main Street between Tin Bucket Mercantile and the courtyard! Vendor applications have closed.

• Will there be food trucks? Yes! All food vendors will be located on Main Street between Sutton Tate Boutique and Hopp Frogg Music. You can also grab a bite to eat at one of restaurants in downtown! Food truck applications have closed.

• Is there live music? Yes. Live music will be located on the stage in front of the police department.

• How can I be a vendor at future events? Vendor applications are announced on our Facebook and Instagram and in our e-newsletter when available. Food Truck applications open in January 2026 for the entire year. You can subscribe to the newsletter by visiting the bottom of our homepage.

• How can my business sponsor an event in downtown Dallas? Please submit the sponsorship form and someone will be in touch with you soon!
