The Back to School Block Party is the way to celebrate the new school year. Come downtown for FREE school supplies (while supplies last), cheerleading and dance team performances, tasty food from your favorite food trucks, children’s vendors and activities, and shopping on Main Street. This event brings thousands of families to downtown and is a good time had by all!

Q: Where are the public restrooms?
A: Portable toilets are located up on the hill, near the trees behind Hopp Frogg Music.
Q: Do I have to sign up to get school supplies?
A: School supplies will be located in the school supply tent on Main Street in front of Hopp Frogg Music. They are first come, first serve.
Q: How do I donate school supplies?
A: Please drop off your school supply donations at the business development/marshal's office Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. If you need to drop off during lunch (12-1pm) please make arrangements to do so with Shannon Gordon by sending an email to sgordon@dallas-ga.gov
Q: What kind of activities can my kids enjoy at the Back to School Block Party?
A: We have enough activities to keep your kids entertained for hours. Activities include street performances from local cheer and dance teams, a petting zoo, a trackless train, a video gaming truck, touch-a-truck, rock wall, and an RC Car track from AVW Off-road.
Q: Will there be food at the event?
A: Absolutely. We have over 14 food trucks registered for the event!
Q: Can I become a tent vendor at the event?
A: Vendors are not accepted at this event.
Q: Where can I park?
A: View our parking map! Note: The Main Street parking lot and parking spots are Main Street are closed for the event.
Q: My business would love to get involved. Can we sponsor?
A: YES! Sponsorships from the community help make our events bigger and better every year!
