Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, we are shifting to the most wonderful time in the City of Dallas. The decorations are up, the tree is lit and smiles are a mile long. Cody Alcorn, an 11 Alive Journalist says, "It feels like the backdrop of a Hallmark Christmas Movie", and we completely agree.
This past weekend, November 26,2022,was the City of Dallas' Third Annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Santa spared some extra time to come hangout with us, we had an assortment of vendors and food trucks and a concert that had everyone on their feet. Mayor James Kelly and our City Council stood on stage and at 6:30 the tree lit up Main Street.
Before the lighting of the tree, we introduced a new family member to the City. Her name is Coco and she is very excited to be traveling all over downtown and seeing everyone.
