Downtown Dallas, Georgia, was filled with patriotic spirit while celebrating the nations 250th Anniversary as an estimated 15,000 people gathered to celebrate the City's annual 4th of July Concert & Fireworks on Saturday, July 4th. Families, friends, and visitors from across the region came together for an evening of live music, community, and one of the largest fireworks displays in the area.
The celebration kicked off with an opening ceremony honoring our nation's military heroes with a video tribute (see below), a presentation of colors by the Paulding County Sheriff's Office and Paulding County Fire Department Honor Guard, a moving performance of the National Anthem by Georgia native Megan Danielle, and a spectacular flyover from the Museum of Flight that set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
Headlining the event was Guardians of the Jukebox, whose high-energy performance had the crowd singing and dancing throughout the night. Food trucks lined Main Street, local stores welcomed shoppers, and children enjoyed spending the evening with family and friends in the heart of downtown. Even Lady Liberty walked around on Main Street on stilts!
As darkness fell, the night concluded with a breathtaking fireworks display that lit up the sky, creating a memorable finale to the celebration.
The City of Dallas extends its sincere appreciation to the many staff members, volunteers, public safety personnel, vendors, and sponsors whose hard work made the event possible. Their dedication helped create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for the thousands of attendees.
A special thank you goes to our sponsors, Hardy Family Automotive Group and Family Savings Credit Union, C&L Contractors, Lonati Law Firm, Wing Aviation LLC, and Ryan Homes for their generous support of this year's celebration.
With an estimated attendance of 15,000 people, this year's event continues to showcase Downtown Dallas as a destination for community celebrations and family-friendly entertainment. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this Independence Day celebration one to remember.
