The countdown is on for one of the year’s most anticipated events! City Fest returns on Friday, May 3, bringing an evening of unforgettable family fun, exciting attractions, unique vendors and shops, and show-stopping live music—headlined by country music rising star Emily Ann Roberts.
This celebration will transform the heart of the city into a vibrant festival zone with local artisans, food trucks, specialty shops, and interactive activities for all ages. Kids can take on the rock wall, test their grit on the mechanical bull, and bounce their energy out in a variety of inflatable play zones. For those up to the challenge, don’t miss the dunk tank—a festival favorite!
As the sun begins to set, the excitement continues with a live broadcast of the Kentucky Derby, bringing a touch of southern tradition and thrill to the evening’s festivities. Then, all eyes turn to the stage for the night’s performances: Wildwood Duo and Emily Ann Roberts.
They say the path to the grandest stage is paved with relentless practice, and Emily Ann Roberts embodies this mantra. A proud East Tennessee native, Roberts began her journey as a teenager on Blake Shelton’s team on The Voice—a major accomplishment achieved before even finishing high school. Since then, she’s graced the Grand Ole Opry stage nearly 20 times, amassed over 45 million streams, and released her acclaimed debut full-length album, Can't Hide Country.
Rooted in the traditions of Smoky Mountain music, her sound blends the influences of Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Miranda Lambert, and Cody Johnson, while carving her own distinct path in modern country. In 2024, she joined Blake Shelton once again—this time as part of his Back to the Honky Tonk Tour, performing across 17 major arenas. Critics and fans alike are taking notice: Roberts has been named a top artist to watch by CMT, Country Now, All Country News, Music Mayhem Magazine, and more.
With lyrics full of honesty and a voice that's both powerful and pure, Emily Ann Roberts is reintroducing authenticity to country music—and eventgoers at City Fest are in for a performance they won’t forget.
Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend. Come early, stay late, and enjoy the music, the memories, and the magic of City Fest 2025!
City Fest is sponsored by Woodstock Furniture & Mattress Outlet, First National Community Bank, and Family Savings Credit Union.
